The Karate1-Premier League is the most important league event in the world of Karate. It comprises of a number of the most prominent Karate competitions and endeavours to bring together the best Karate athletes in the world in open championships of unprecedented scale and quality. As the WKF's elite competition, the number of competitors is limited to 32 competitors per category.

Moreover, Karate's "Best of the Best" are crowned at the Karate 1-Premier League, in the most prestigious annual individual recognition called "Grand Winners". Competitors ranked 1st on the Karate 1 Premier League Standing, in each individual category, at the end of the season will receive the "Grand Winners" award.

The Karate 1 - Series A comprises a number of first-class international tournaments all over the world aiming to raise the annual number of WKF events while giving competitors even more opportunities to improve their positions at WKF World ranking. Additionally, the Karate 1-Series A provides added window to showcase the magnificence of Karate's major events and the progress of the sport worldwide.

The Karate 1-Youth League is a newly created competition conceived to highlight the impact of Karate in young ages. Established under the umbrella of Karate 1, and designed to complete Karate 1-Premier League and Karate 1-Series A, the Karate 1-Youth League aims at becoming a platform for the development of youngsters in their quest to progress in the sport.
