Karate 1-Series A: Tbilisi to Kick Off the 2025 Season with First-Class Competition

The highly anticipated 2025 Karate 1-Series A season is set to begin in Tbilisi, Georgia, on January 10-12, marking the start of a thrilling calendar of international karate tournaments.
The Karate 1-Series A gives top competitors a platform to showcase their skills, aiming to improve their positions in the WKF World Ranking and solidify their status on the global stage.
As the opening event of the season, the Karate 1-Series A Tbilisi is expected to bring together hundreds of elite karatekas from around the world, eager to make their mark and earn crucial ranking points. Following the Tbilisi event, the Karate 1-Series A circuit will travel to Larnaca, Cyprus; Salzburg, Austria; and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Returning to Tbilisi, the Karate 1-Series A builds on the Georgian capital’s success in hosting major Karate events after welcoming the 2024 EKF Cadet, Junior & U21 Championships.
For those unable to attend in person, the WKF will be live-streaming the event’s finals on the official WKF YouTube channel, giving fans around the world a chance to tune into the action and follow their favourite athletes as they compete.
