WKF Commissions Convene at 2024 World Cadet, Junior & U21 Championships to Drive Karate's Progress

The World Karate Federation (WKF) Commissions gathered during the 2024 World Cadet, Junior & U21 Karate Championships in Venice-Jesolo, Italy, to review and assess the sport's progress across various areas. The meetings focused on ensuring that karate's development reaches every aspect of the sport and maintains its growth and global appeal.
The WKF Commissions that met in Venice-Jesolo included the Medical & Anti-Doping Commission, the Technical Commission, the Women’s Sports Commission, the Rules and Ranking Commission, and the Athletes Commission. Each group brought forward updates and discussions on their respective areas, focusing on improving karate's infrastructure and providing better opportunities for athletes, coaches and fans worldwide.
WKF President Antonio Espinós praised the dedication and hard work of the commission members.
