The city of Dhaka in Bangladesh hosts the 11th edition of the Commonwealth Karate Championships from September 25 to 29.
An anticipated event for karatekas in the Commonwealth countries, the event aims to be a celebration of the sport in the region. Scheduled from September 25 to 29 at the Shaheed Shurawardy Indoor Stadium, the 2024 Commonwealth Karate Championships have been sanctioned by the Commonwealth Games Federation.
The last edition of the Commonwealth Karate Championships was held in Birmingham (United Kingdom). Hosts of England topped the medal table of the event with a total of 63 medals, followed by Scotland and Australia with 22 and 21 medals respectively.
